Ingredients:
- 2 kg of peeled potatoes in cubes
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon of coarse salt
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 chopped garlic teeth
- 1 kg of minced meat
- 10 tomatoes
- 1 box of tomato sauce ready (520 g)
- 2 eggs
- 1 and 1/2 cup of wheat flour
- Gets up to taste
- 1 cup of fresh basil
- 3 cups of grated mozzarella
Preparation:
- In a pan over medium heat, place the potatoes with milk, coarse salt, bay leaf and cover with water.
- Cook until it is soft. Drain and squeeze the potatoes.
- Mix with butter and cream. Wait to cool.
- In the meantime, for the sauce, in a pan over medium heat, heat the olive oil and brown the onion until it is soft.
- Add the garlic and fry the meat until golden brown.
- Beat the tomatoes in liquidating and pour into the pan together with the tomato sauce.
- Take the dressing with salt and pepper and wait for a boil.
- Mix the potato puree, the egg and the flour until smooth and, if necessary, add more flour.
- Create rolls with parts of the dough and cut into small squares of 2 cm.
- Cook the gnocchi in boiling water with salt and remove with a scum when the surface rises.
- On a refractory plate, align the bottom with the gnocchi and cover with a portion of soaking and some basil leaves.
- Distribute the grated mozzarella and repeat the operation plus twice, ending up with mozzarella and basil leaves.
- Bake in the average preheated oven for 15 minutes.
