Ingredients of the Sardinian sauce
– Sardinian oil from 2 cans (S)
– 12 tablespoons of naked tomatoes, with juice
– 300 ml of boiling water: you can use pasta cooking water.
– 8 units (i) black olives without loops, cut into slices. (or opposing green olive)
– 6 tablespoons of onion, chopped.
– 4 teeth of garlic, chopped.
-1 units (s) pepper fingers, seedless, chopped.
– 60 ml of olive oil to jump.
– Salsinha to taste, chopped
– Limone to taste (troops)
– Go up to taste
Pre-repair:
- Separate the tools and ingredients from the recipe.
- Place a kettle on the fire with boiling water (see quantity in the ingredients).
- Open the can of sardine, drain the liquid, open the sardines in half and with a fork or a tweezers to discard the central spine of the fish.
- Peel and cut the onion and garlic.
- Wash the girl’s finger pepper, discard the seeds and choose.
- Remove the lump from the olives and cut into thin slices.
- Wash and cut the parsley.
- Wash the lemon, scrape and set aside in paper towels.
PREPARATION:
Sardine Salsa:
- In a deep pan, over medium heat, sauté the onion, garlic and girl’s finger pepper in olive oil until the onion becomes transparent.
- Add naked tomatoes with juice and boiling water (see quantity in the ingredients)
- Connect with salt and reduced for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the sardines and mix gently to incorporate: do not let the sardines break too much, it should be well pedaling.
- Go up for another 2 minutes to incorporate the flavors.
- Finally, add the olive slices, chopped parsley and lemon zest and mix.
- Turn off the heat.
Finishing and assembly:
- Serve the Sardinian sauce on a pasta of your choice.
- It can also be used as a snack, distributed on toast or slices of bread.
