The professional explains step by step how to prevent frequent heavy cleaning
There is nothing more unpleasant than opening the refrigerator and smelling that bad smell, after all it is the place that should, in fact, store food. But this happens due to the decomposition of food, which generates gas and permeates the environment.
The first step to good cleaning is to take out everything inside the refrigerator and check the expiration date on the products it contains.
Discard the expired ones and the jars with what is left of the meals of the previous days if you do not consume them anymore. Also check the quality of the fruit and vegetables.

Before storing the food, clean the appliance thoroughly with a cloth moistened in a solution of 2 liters of water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda and then dry well.

So, to avoid bad smell, choose one of these two methods:
Coal – By absorbing odor molecules, charcoal is infallible in eliminating odor and is one of the best known tips. Just put a piece of charcoal in a pot and leave it open at the bottom of the refrigerator. Change the charcoal at least once a month.
Coffee – Placing a cup of powdered or ground coffee after cleaning the refrigerator also eliminates the bad smell. The finer the powder, the better. And the larger the surface in contact with the refrigerator air, the greater the smell it will capture. Replace the coffee every 30 days.
Extra Tips:
- Wash products that have just arrived from the supermarket before putting them in the fridge;
- Clean all the inside of the refrigerator at least every three months;
- Do not line the shelves with towels or plastic, as they prevent air circulation.
