So, to avoid bad smell, choose one of these two methods:

Coal – By absorbing odor molecules, charcoal is infallible in eliminating odor and is one of the best known tips. Just put a piece of charcoal in a pot and leave it open at the bottom of the refrigerator. Change the charcoal at least once a month.

Coffee – Placing a cup of powdered or ground coffee after cleaning the refrigerator also eliminates the bad smell. The finer the powder, the better. And the larger the surface in contact with the refrigerator air, the greater the smell it will capture. Replace the coffee every 30 days.

Extra Tips:

  • Wash products that have just arrived from the supermarket before putting them in the fridge;
  • Clean all the inside of the refrigerator at least every three months;
  • Do not line the shelves with towels or plastic, as they prevent air circulation.
