A video that became viral to Tiktok caused repulsion and indignation among the Netizen. The images made by a customer, identified as @allqualityfilms, show a living cockroach in an ice container in a bar in Florida, in the United States.
The video, which has already exceeded the distinctive sign of 13 million views and captures the moment when an Etablishment employee removes the insect from the place. The customer warned of the caption of the video: “This may persecute you every time you ask for a drink in a bar”.
The repercussion of the case was immediate, with several users interested in the hygiene of the place. “Please tell me that they threw all that ice away,” commented a Netizen. “Luckily I never go to bars or night clubs,” he wrote another.
Some users who have identified themselves as bars and employees of the restaurant have said that the presence of cockroaches in ice containers is not common and strengthen the importance of hygiene practices. “As a bartender, no, this is not normal,” said a user. “That’s why we melted the ice and cleaned everything after our turn,” explained another.
Despite the unexpected event, the bars and restaurants are required to follow severe health standards, including structures and products for cleaning and hygiene offered to customers.
