The list, published on Wednesday 26, considers a series of criteria, such as recommendations of experts, satisfaction of patients and hospital quality indicators, including the effectiveness of the treatments and their impact on the quality of life.
In addition, this year the scientific production of hospitals was considered, focusing on the quantity and impact of publications in scientific journals. In total, the analysis covered 30 countries, selected on the basis of factors such as the quality of life, life expectancy, the population size, the number of hospitals and the availability of data. To reach the best 250, over 2,400 hospitals were evaluated.
