With this in mind, the expert gives 5 tips to maintain heart health safe during the hottest season of the year. Check:

4. Stress control: “Use techniques to reduce stress such as meditation, deep breathing or relaxation and free time activities. This will surely help your heart to stay healthy,” says the cardiologist.

5. Attention to temperature and sun: “Avoid excessive heat exposure, which can lead to dehydration and the sun. Look for fresh environments and uses light clothes. Furthermore, be aware of the symptoms of weakness, dizziness, nausea or palpitus.

“The suggestions above are important for everyone, but it is worth strengthening that people with risk factors, such as hypertensive, diabetics, obese, sedentary and smoke, should give a special weight to these care, as they are a risk group in this period”, says dr. Roberto Yano.
