With works inspired between the 1960s and 2010, the exhibition “Brasilian Fashion: A Retrospective” makes a journey into the universe that imposes trends and offers the public the opportunity to appreciate the history and multiplicity of national fashion with the creations of 30 artists, who today stand out in their segments, have graduated in large projects of San Paolo.
The initiative presents all the creativity present in the national fashion scenario, through the careful selection of clothing created by the guest artisans.
The artists were chosen based on their professional and personal trajectories, which guarantees personalities through inclusive and representative approaches for each exposed piece. The healing was made by designers and teachers Caversan Walquiria AND Nina Floreszwho played a key role in the selection of craftsmen and also in the organization of the exhibition.

“From tropicalism to the present day, Brazilian fashion has always been a mosaic of diversity and wealth. The exhibition celebrates this rich story, showing how fashion has become over time, but always maintaining its roots and unique identity. Through a contemporary look at the past, the show reveals the strength and vitality of Brazilian fashion, capable of inspiring generations. The exhibition has been open to the public from 8 March and will continue until April 13th. “Brasilian Fashion: in Retrospective” is located in the atrium of the Clara Nunes Theater, in Diadema and works from Monday to Saturday, from 09 hours to 18 hours, with free admission.
