Ingredients for the rice ball with peppers recipe:

  • 1 cup of ground and fried Calabrian sausage
  • 2 and 1/2 cups of cooked white rice
  • 1/2 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 2 crushed cloves of garlic
  • 100 g of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 yolk
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fry oil

Method of preparation:

On a plate put the peppers, rice, garlic, parmesan, egg, yolk, flour and parsley. Salt, pepper to taste and mix all the ingredients together, kneading with your hands until they are very firm. Divide the dough and shape the gnocchi. In a pan, fry the fries in hot oil until golden brown. Drain and drain on absorbent paper. Serve immediately.
