The multifaceted artist uses fashion as a tool for identity, resistance and affirmation of black power

In a scenario in which, for many years, fashion has been designed by black women, but not for them, Tamy It broke the models and strengthening the importance of occupying spaces.




For decades, the fashion industry has fueled the creativity and aesthetics of women of color without, however, include them as real protagonists, both in creation, in the catwalks or even in the countryside.
