The Awake brand presents a new collection that celebrates cinema, entitled “A Tribute to the Seventh Art”. This project stands out for the release of two limited edition watches, the SơN Mài Silver Leaf models, which lead to the classic film “Jurassic Park”, directed by Steven Spielberg and published in 1993.
The watches honored two of the most iconic creatures of the film: The Tyrannosaurus Rex and Velociraptors. Each model has Handcrafters, with colors that refer to the famous prehistoric beasts, which are successful with the public.
Produced in the prestigious city of La Chaux-de-Fonds, accessories use BGW9 Super Luminova to guarantee visibility in environments in low light conditions.
In addition, the bracelets are made of ictyos staircase leather, which give a consistency that refers to the rectilian skin. The model inspired by T-Rex has a dial on a vibrant orange gradient. Above the time at the marking at 6 in the morning, there is an applique that represents the claws of the imposing dinosaur. On the other hand, the watch dedicated to Velociraptors shows a dial in various shades of green, decorated with three brands of claws, referring to the agile legs of the predators.
Exclusivity for a few
However, limited to only 50 units for each design, the collection will be delivered to special boxes that contain iconic quotations in the film. In one of the 100 boxes produced, the lucky buyers will find a true tooth of Carcharodontosaurus, accompanied by a certificate attesting to its authenticity. The new collection is now available for acquisition on the official Awake website.
