With the theme “20 years in 24 hours”, Virada Cultural 2025, through the secretariat of culture and creative economy, promises to be the largest in history, since it was held for the first time two decades ago.
More than a thousand artistic performances will be held on 24 and 25 May, which is considered one of the greatest free cultural meetings in the southern hemisphere.
According to the Town Hall, the large highlights of this edition will be diversity and accessibility, such as spaces reserved for people with disabilities in all stages, Libras services in the CIL application, audio description during events and accessible bathrooms.
In 2025, the organizers expect to collect over 4.7 million people, on streets, squares, cultural centers, houses, libraries, theaters and large phases distributed throughout the capital, thus injecting about 300 million dollars in the economy of San Paolo.
Among the big names confirmed on stage are artists such as Iza, João Gomes, Pericles, Luísa Sonza, Michel Teló, Léo Santana, Mart’nália, Diogo Nogueira, Sepultura, Shaman, Vanessa da Mata, Duda Beat and Negra Li, among others.
“Until recently, having the artists that we will have at M’Boi Mirim was something surreal. We will have Leo Santana to San Miguel Paulista and this is fantastic,” said Mayor Ricardo Nunes, in a declaration of the secretariat of culture Trip to the agenda.
