Polina, in the new season of “Dyld” you have the role of the younger sister of volleyball player Tanya Moshkina. How was the adaptation process?

I enjoyed the process, really! I was received quickly and warmly, for which I am very grateful. I had the chance to know most of the girls. And, for example, I met Dasha Pitsik already in volleyball training.

And you, do you like to train?

Elena Mikhailovna Zarubina is, of course, a wonderful coach. She treated me warmly from the start. I immediately said that I was left-handed, but there were no special difficulties associated with this during training. I had sports skills, I practiced other sports. But volleyball for the first time, so I mastered new facets of myself.

No sprains or bruises?

Of course, I fill myself with bruises (smiles). But I love when you learn something new every time for a role, whether it’s some kind of sport or something fundamentally different. It’s great that now I have such different heroines, images, stories.

Tell us about your character: who is she, why do you like her?

I play the girl Taya, who experiments with her appearance, tries bright colors, something new. I think his story speaks of youth, of openness to the world. But at the same time, about the ignorance of herself, so she has constant searches, which are manifested only in experiments with appearance. And it will be clear and close to everyone who searches for themselves, cuts their bangs in a fit of emotions, dyes their hair, draws arrows, tries to look brighter in order to find the opportunity to exist in this world. in harmony.

Are you still looking for yourself?

I had a bright and eventful period of youth. But the search for myself has not stopped for a minute until now: I am still in this process, and I like it.

Have there been times when you think, “Now I wouldn’t have done that”?

Yes, when I cut my bangs and did it sideways. It was at school. Mom was shocked. But who hasn’t? (Smiling) It’s just that at some point, there is a peak of disagreement with the world and with oneself, that one wants to radically change one’s life, so one does something like this in protest .

But the main appearance experiments have probably already taken place on the site?

Yes, I started acting at seventeen, and in films I had a lot of different images. It is no longer possible to panic and cut the bangs: as soon as you start acting, responsibility arises, so you cannot change your appearance whenever you want. You are in a situation of dependence, because appearance is your working tool. And then at some point I stopped thinking about it, because I have enough experience in my job.

And at the same time cool experiences.

I’m lucky, it’s true!

Going back to your Taya, it seems like she’s still a kid who isn’t interested in novels yet.

I think Taya is more interested in playing sports and developing herself right now. But it’s the same person as everyone else: in any case, it has different development and facets. She is looking for herself, changing her vision of life. At the beginning of the season, she has just entered the institute, so she wants to somehow prove herself there.

And the position of the younger sister leaves an imprint?

I think so. I myself have never had older siblings. Yes, there is a half-brother on my father’s side, but he is ten years younger. So I don’t know what it’s like to be a little sister, unfortunately or fortunately (Smiles). But there are many examples among my friends. And, of course, it is always a story of love and struggle at the same time, because, on the one hand, it is a close person, and on the other, a competition. Without rivalry, especially if relatives are engaged in the same business, nothing. So here is the desire to be with a loved one, and to show off. And in the cinema, it is the most beautiful field of conflicts, which is always interesting to play.
