Sometimes dance is just a hobby, but sometimes they change human life. About the way it happens, the Breyking coach said the voice Elizabeth Lilova.
How I started dancing the breakup
I liked to dance for 11 years. Then, at the very beginning of zero, in our province, they did not taught different styles: there were only “street dances” – a meli -melo, thrown extracts from clips and spy performances of foreign teams. For the first time, I saw the rupture of the local festival – I appreciated it, but my thoughts did not occur.
I tried the break dance at 18 and immediately realized that it was mine. At first, I was just in the subject – I looked, read, trained, I went to competitions a few times. Then she started teaching children – it went well.
In 2013, I got married, I gave birth to a child and abandoned lessons, but not to hip-hop culture herself. I have constantly watched the videos of my husband’s championships and videos, who was a bi-boom, sighed, torn to come back, sometimes out for training, but then plunged into the routine. In the 26th reason, an accident began not to dance: I was shot by the car, after which I recovered almost a year.
It lasted about eight years until the start of the pandemic. At isolation, I started to face my husband at home, after which I went to the room. Everyone remembered the body and the brain, but it was difficult to dance, to lose your shape and old wounds were felt. And in 2021, my life has radically changed – my husband and I decided to divorce, and my daughter and I returned to Magnitogorsk – a hometown in which I have not lived for about 10 years.

Teacher’s career
Once in the Urals, Magnitogorsk brokers were considered one of the most powerful and unique dancers, there were many teams, epic battles took place. But gradually, everyone grew up, the children acquired … Someone refused to dance to earn money in another way, someone left. The units remained in the ranks. When I arrived, I discovered that there was almost no grinding in the city, as well as events that would develop style.
In the studio of the guys who trained me, Breyking was taught by my old acquaintance, combining this with the main work. The number of students has left the six people to be desired to desire to go to class. At the invitation of a friend, I sometimes replaced him in training, and a little later, in 2022, I was offered to recruit my group in the new branch of the studio.
I enjoyed accepting. There was no clear understanding of what and how to do in my head, but I already knew with certainty that I wanted to swing the grinding in this city at all costs. At first, I only had five students, but gradually, people stopped. Already during the first report battles, after only two months of training, my guys took first and second place, and the second – girl!
The following battles after two months also became ours, I was even more inspired. We tried to lead to another city towards adult competitions with experienced dancers – I wanted to show children the essence of Breyking, its atmosphere, to load them with this powerful energy which is generally on robust battles.
Have you watched the film “Step Forward”, where the dance teams are fighting against each other? In Breyking, everything happens about the same thing, several times more powerful. It is such a strong presentation of complex elements and dances that everyone is busy – dancers and spectators. Battles are an integral part of Breyking culture, this is how all competitions take place – locals in small towns at the world championships.
My little warriors maintained with dignity. We knew in advance that we were simply going to pump, and no victory has yet shone for us. However, the idea was justified. The guys saw the bi-boys and the steep beeps, imbued with the atmosphere and even resisted battles with an adult team. Now, I already have 13 people in the group and we are intensely preparing for new performances. My friend has also increased services – there are already more than 20.
During all this time, I see how the interest of children get away, how they develop, and with them growth and I – both as a dancer and as a teacher. Now, I am billed not only by Breyking, but also by students – we have an exchange of mutual love and energy, we get incredible pleasure in courses. These guys also teach me the new one, inspire me and fill me.
A few years ago, I wouldn’t even think that I would not teach not only Breyking, but also to develop it, but today, I intend to keep my competitions, to attract dancers from other cities to us. Sometimes I think of stopping working as a director in a restaurant and going to dance, but so far, it is impossible: income will not allow itself to provide themselves and a girl.
Now, in a way, I manage to combine complete work, raising a child and constant training. I can’t always relax or even prepare for lunch, but now it’s not essential for me. I am happy that never, I am delighted with each new day and that I take advantage of what I do.
