Rust has undergone an important weight loss process in recent years and has lost more than 35 kg. The singer said that this change of habits was motivated by health problems and limitations that he had to face due to the overweight and recalled that an exam stressed that he had a biological age of 78 years.

“I was 78 years old. So, I wondered that I was dying next week. It made me want to change, it was pre-diabetic, with fat in the liver, inflammation in all the joints of the body, all my wounds, I could not breathe well, I could not perform well for the shows,” he said the 36-year-old pagoda in an interview Videocast Monster Factory.
The biological age is a term administered by healthcare professionals to the calculation carried out through the exams to evaluate the degree of aging of a person, who can be influenced by factors such as genetics, lifestyle and food.
Rust said that overweight has made several areas of his life, including work. The singer said he couldn’t make longer shows, an hour and a half and also suffered from frequent trips.
“You are on the plane and you are ashamed to order a stretch of the seat belt, because it did not end. I had an inflammation on the overweight on the back and, to get to the starting gate, I had to stop about five times,” he remembered.
