The first edition of “Borders of Oncology” should collect more than 500 clinical oncologists and other health professionals
The Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology (SBOC) promotes this Saturday 14, the first edition of “Borders of Oncology”, a series of face -to -face facial events, simultaneously held in seven Brazilian cities, which cover all the regions of the country.
The event should bring together more than 500 clinical oncologists and other health professionals who work in the care of cancer in the cities of Belém (PA), Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasilia (DF), Curitiba (PR), Porto Alegre (RS), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Salvador (BA).

The initiative aims to present doctors and other professionals who work in the health area with a updated overview of the main progress in the treatment of cancer. Attention will be the salient moments just expanded to the largest clinical oncology event in the world, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting, which ended last week in Chicago (USA).
With a unified program in all cities, the event will face the news on a series of topics. These are: breast cancer, gynecological tumors, gastrointestinal tumors, lung tumors, genitaric tumors, tumors of the head and neck, sarcomas, melanomas, tumors of the central nervous system and agnostic tumors.
“Bringing high quality information and the most relevant updates of oncology in different regions of Brazil is a fundamental commitment of Sboc,” says the oncologist Angélica Nogueira, president of Sboc.
“Our goal is to ensure that professionals from all over the country have access to the last and effective treatment of cancer, promoting continuous medical education and, consequently, a more equal and excellence oncology,” he adds.
