With only 1% of the flowing population, Brazil invests in alternative methods and exchanges to provide global demand

Mastering English is no longer a differential, it has become a basic requirement for those who want to stand out in the labor market.

Mastering English is no longer a competitive advantage: it has become a fundamental need for those who try to grow professionally. This is what the 2025 wage guide indicates the advice Robert Half, which highlights the domain of a second language as one of the main career ascension factors and wage improvement. However, Brazil has yet to face a great challenge: according to the British Council, only 1% of the Brazilian population speaks of English.

What we do is demystify it,” explains Carolina Diniz, entrepreneur, educator and creator of the Befaster platform. Known as a “teacher of the famous”, he taught the language to over 18,000 students, including names such as Thammy Miranda, Marco Luque, Danilo Gentili and Tata Estaniecki.

Alternative methodologies get space

With an approach that combines coaching techniques, neurolinguistic programming (PNL) and practical conversation, Carolina has attracted attention to quick and applicable results. “The student must feel capable of the first class. The traditional method often strengthens the fear of making mistakes and this blocks fluidity,” he says.

In addition to the online and facials to face classes, the platform also promotes cultural exchanges in Canada, today the most sought after destination by the Brazilians who want to study outside. “We have collected lessons and immersed the country. The student learns English life, purchase, interaction – is a transformation that does not occur only in the language, but in self -esteem,” says Carolina.

For her, English is a “professional and emotional passport”. “When a person begins to communicate safely, he finds himself able to conquer more. This is reflected in work, in travel, in relationships. It is much more than a language – it is a key turning point,” he adds.
