In response, on July 26, the Ministry of Health will promote a “D -Dia” to strengthen vaccination against measles in the border areas with Bolivia and other strategic regions. The action has already taken place in Acre and will now be held in Rondônia, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do sul.
Vaccination
Morbillo is a highly contagious infectious disease, characterized by fever, rash, cough, nose that colas and conjunctivitis.
The transmission occurs from person to person, by air, when coughing, sneezing, talking or breathing. According to the Ministry of Health, an infected person can transmit the virus up to 90% of people who are not immune.
