The expert emphasizes ways to resist
Roberson Dariel, father of a Holy Specialist in the reconciliation of the Unieb Institute, warns of the importance of strengthening bonds and seeking balance in the relationship
In 2023, Brazil recorded 940.8 thousand weddings, which represent a 3% drop compared to 2022, according to IBGE civil register statistics. This number confirms a retraction trend in formal unions that has been observed in recent years. The highest reduction focused on the south -eastern region, which decreased by 5.0% in the wedding registers. In the meantime, in other regions, the movement was more stable, but without important progress that revealed the general fall in the country.
Divorce on unloading in Brazil
On the other hand, divorces have increased. In 2023 there were 440.8 thousand dissolution, number 4.9% more than the previous year. The Midwest and the North have distinguished themselves with the major variations, recording respectively 16.8% and 13.1%, which shows a notice for the fragility of marital relations.
“Many separations are inevitable and even necessary, especially when the couple lives in the middle of a lack of respect for conflict or unresolved situations. But it is also true that numerous relationships could be preserved with harmony and respect if there were more dialogues, self -recounting and strengthening the relationship before the problems became unsustainable”, says Roberson Dariel, Father Santi Sacre, holy couples.
The role of dialogue and transparency
Given this scenario, prevention begins indoors, in the way couples face living and daily challenges. Talking openly about expectations is an important step in the cultivation of mutual trust without resorting to excessive control. Recognizing errors and reviewing the attitudes that can generate insecurity also strengthens the relationship. “Small omissions or behaviors of which the partner would not approve must be rethought, because transparency is what supports lasting bonds,” he continues.
For the expert, it is essential to admit defects and look for new forms of connection. “Healthy relationships are supported by an open conversation, ability to recognize errors and spiritual strengthening. Many couples find in this regard a way to renew the energy and vibrate in love. When there is dialogue and delivery, the chances of resisting negative statistics grow considerably”, concludes Roberson.
