An environment with a new painting, in addition to bringing a sense of cleaning and renewal, can bring a special vibration into space
We arrived in September and in early spring, the most colorful and smelled season of the year. For many, it is a unique moment of nature, due to the colors that gives us. And who does not have the beautiful rainbows in their memory after a summer shower in the late afternoon? All for sure.
There is no way: when we are bad and bad with life, nothing like wearing a new and colorful dress to change mood and energy. Not to mention people who radically change hair color and are fine with life.
Now imagine that you live or work in a dark, cold and dirty environment without stimulating work or creativity. A place with heavy or dark colors. A depressing and ugly place. Horrible, no?!?!?
Imagine the same place painted, clear, clean and tidy now. It will be a change of 180 ° in the energy of the environment and in the astral of people. An environment with a new painting, in addition to bringing a sense of cleaning and renewal, can bring a special vibration to space and people, according to the chosen color.
In Feng Shui, colors are one of the important points to renew and harmonize the energies of an environment, at home or in the company. The use of colors in the environments can be made by painting walls and doors, as well as decorations: rugs, images, upholstery, furniture, objects, etc.
In my opinion, as a consultant, a colorful environment is a cheerful and good energy environment. In other words, put more color in your home and life. But be very careful when choosing the color of the walls or the decoration of an environment, since, just as a color can vibrate positively, some colors may be sorry or transmit sensations or bad energy.
Color is a source of energy that will certainly stimulate a series of points in our life. There is a right dose for the application of colors, which varies from person to person. For example, the red color is stimulating for emotions, passions and sexuality.
If the red stimulates the most intimate love relationships, then we paint the couple of the couple in red, right? Wrong! Red stimulates yes, but excessive in environments can cause time, fights, disagreements and anger attacks. Therefore, for a double room, for example, use red in small quantities and details, such as an image, a carpet, a pillow or a ship of red flowers.
In short, when choosing the color that will predominate in an environment, both in painting and in the decoration, always take into account the effects that the colors will have on people, personality and temperament. You can start avoiding the excesses of red, black, dark gray and purple.
You will not make mistakes if you choose basic or neutral colors: white, ice, sand, cream, salmon, pink, fishing, etc. To help understand the effects of color on environments and people, we made a script with the effects of color, analyzed by the perspective and decoration of Feng Shui.
The effects of colors
White
In decoration: white in environments can bring people the feeling of peace, calm, tranquility and serenity. For other people, however, it can mean cold, sadness and impersonality. White also gives us the feeling of cleaning, sometimes even exaggerated. White is very white only when it gets an intense direct light. The places with white color offer a feeling of greater light and amplitude.
In Feng Shui: it is a neutral color that can be used in any environment. Pay attention when white appears too much in a space. White represents infinity. When a person remains too long in an all white environment, he will feel infinite, cold, emptiness and hostility. Break the white with very colorful frames and furniture.
Black and gray
In the decoration: be very careful with the use of these colors. They should be used in small details in the decoration, especially when we are looking for a “special effect”, both inside and outside the house. Inside, it is used to provide contrasts, in particular with white. It is widely used on the ceiling with the tall ceiling to create a sensation of built -in.
In Feng Shui: it is an overwhelming and depressive color. Remember pain, loss and sadness. It represents the element of water and should be used very carefully. Too much water in the rooms can leave people sad and anguished. It is usually used in small details at home.
Green
In the decoration: it is a color widely used and always brings joy and life. On the floor, it reminds us of nature. It does not apply a lot of light, keeping the original color. In open places, complete the wood and the gardens.
In Feng Shui: it is a neutral color that represents the wooden element. Calm the nervous system and the senses. It also means hope and satisfaction. Be careful when you use green in places where red predominates, as we will have a very hot space. It should be used in the bathrooms to increase the energy of the place. For houses with health problems, Green is a great care.
Lilac and purple
In the decoration: the clearest shades can be used in all environments and in small details. If it is a monochromatic color, it can become tiring.
In Feng Shui: tranquility holder, silent and calm. Stimulates spirituality. It has purifying effect and transforms negative energy into positive. Excellent for health. Calm the heart, the mind and the nerves. At home, the best places for use are in areas of meditation and prayer. In excess, it can bring depression and anxiety.
Orange
In the decoration: unconsciously, it resembles pleasant flavors and takes us to childhood. In general, it is widely used in kitchens. Opens and stimulates appetite. It can be used in the dining room, in a wall, in very soft tones (such as the color of fishing). In darker tones, it suggests stability.
In Feng Shui: it is the color of the intellect. In small doses, it stimulates the senses, creativity and communication. It is positive for the areas of the house where you want to stimulate dialogue, such as visiting the room, dinner and kitchens. In excess, it can cause too many conversations and even rebellion.
Red
In the decoration: as mentioned, be careful when applying this color to the environments. It is an energetic and vibrant color that can cause excitement and nervousness when it appears in excess. In small doses, it brings to the rooms an air of glamor and even exotic. Too much, it can become vulgar.
In Feng Shui: color that activates and stimulates the areas of emotional relationship, success, self -esteem, fame and prosperity. It should be used very carefully and in small doses as it is an exciting and stimulating color. In the double room, activate sexuality. In the living room or in the kitchen, it stimulates appetite and dialogue. Excessively causes fights, confusion and mood explosions.
Blue
In the decoration: it can be applied in large areas without becoming tiring, but it should be combined with other colors to avoid monotony and sleepiness. The darker blue authority transmits.
In Feng Shui: it is a relaxing color and brings tranquility to environments and people. Pay attention to the excess blue in the spaces, since the blue painted walls can cause excess sleep. For those who are very agitated, it should be used in moderation.
Yellow
In the decoration: it is widely used to heat and illuminate dark areas. On the floors, it causes a sense of advancement. In large areas and surfaces, it can worry about the incidence of light.
In Feng Shui: another color that stimulates the intellect. It is also the color of light. It stimulates communication, mental activities and opens the appetite. It should be used, for example, in the study room or offices. In the kitchen, it stimulates the appetite. Excessively causes a lot of conversation and accelerated and confused thoughts, generating concern.
