  4. Natural water;
  5. Soft drinks (in moderation);
  6. Iced black tea;
  7. Hot black tea;

  10. Beer

The runner-up, Oral Rehydration Solution, is the same simple recipe used to treat dehydration: a mixture of water, salt, and sugar. The sodium present in this combination helps retain fluids and reduce urine production, which explains its high efficiency. Natural orange juice, in third place, stands out for its balance between water, vitamins and minerals, especially potassium, which is essential for water balance.

Water is still essential

Although skim milk came first, scientists point out that no beverage replaces water. It remains the healthiest and most essential liquid for the functioning of the human body, participating in processes such as digestion, nutrient absorption, regulation of body temperature and blood circulation.

Although milk can be a good option to vary hydration, especially after physical activity or periods of intense heat, the recommendation is not to give up water on a daily basis.
