Discover options for green areas in different Brazilian cities […]
According to the Semeia Institute, Brazil has more than 600 natural parks open to the public, including national, state and municipal parks.
And, certainly, in this vast network of green areas available for leisure and connection with nature, there will be no shortage of options for every style of parents and children who want to stay away from screens.
For Renata Mendes, executive director of the Semeia Institute, the value of parks goes
in addition to free time, since they are also spaces that promote physical and mental health, respect for diversity and care for the community.
“Parks are spaces that promote creativity and direct contact with different forms of life. For many children it is the place where they discover the smell of the earth, the sound of birds, they can run and jump. These are experiences that will last forever,” says Mendes.
