Diane Keaton died last Saturday (age 11), at age 79, in California; celebrities took to social media to bid farewell to the actress

Diana Keaton died this Saturday (11), aged 79, in California. The actress became famous in North American cinema and around the world for participating in classics such as “The Godfather”, “Nervous Bride” AND “The father of the bride”.

Born to a family of four sisters, in the city of Los Angelesin 1946, the actress was originally christened as Diana Sala. However, after completing his studies, he moved to New York and adopted his mother’s surname, Keaton.

The family member, who was a housewife, was a great inspiration for the woman to pursue an artistic career. She dreamed of becoming an actress, but could not fulfill this desire. The daughter, however, got her first job as an understudy in the musical ‘Hair’In Broadway, shortly after the move, in 1968.

And it didn’t take long for Diane to become famous. That’s because, in 1972, he acted “The Godfather”in the role of Kay Adamsromantic couple Michele Corleone (Al Pacino). In the following years he participated in several of the director’s productions Woody AllenPleases “The Sleeper”.

Subsequently, already renowned in cinema, the actress won the award Oscar for best actress with the romantic comedy “Neurotic groom, nervous bride”of 1977.
