Cleo Pires celebrated her 43rd birthday with typically Parisian charm and elegance. The actress chose one of the most luxurious addresses in the French capital, the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, to celebrate the date last week.
The hotel’s accommodations are a spectacle in themselves: the 169 m² Grand Appartement Rive Gauche has an average daily rate of 15,850 euros (around R$101,000) and was created in collaboration with the Carré Rive Gauche galleries. The Saint-Germain apartment, designed by director Francis Ford Coppola, costs 7,910 euros (around R$50,000).
The most “economical” room, the Grand Superior Room, costs no less than 1,650 euros (around R$ 10,000).
Opened in 1910, Lutetia brings together the best of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, with an undulating façade, Murano glass lamps and works by artists such as César, Arman and Takis. The most recent restoration, conducted between 2014 and 2018 by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, preserved the classic soul of the space, adding a contemporary touch of luxury.
The hotel has four restaurants, a spa and some accommodations with views of the iconic Eiffel Tower.
