At the age of 20, the young woman talks to Boa Forma about her relationship with social media, the importance of therapy and her exercise routine.
At the age of 20, Duda Kropf is a social networking powerhouse. The singer already has more than a million followers on Instagram and more than two million on TikTok. And considering the pressure of being a public figure these days, one can only imagine the impact the exposure has on a young woman’s mental health.

“My relationship with social media is made up of love and hate”, he says in an interview with Boa Forma. “There is the good side, the fans. They are my safe haven, my everything, my life. Without them I would not have achieved a third of what I have achieved to date. Without social media I would not have my profession , nor my home – Today I live alone “.
On the other hand, explain that the negative aspect is quite broad: people who intrude and give their opinion on your life without knowing what you are going through and confrontation. For her, if these points did not exist, she would probably live peacefully, loving her body and without problems connected to it. “I compare a lot with networks, we never know what is real and what is false,” she says.
Duda explains that the interference of this relationship with the networks on his mental health is quite evident nowadays. For her, there was a time when everything was a cause of discontent: the photo of a woman in a bikini, even though she knew it was a modified image and that that woman had undergone cosmetic procedures, was enough for her. confront and feel sad.
“It interfered a lot with my mental health, to the point where I couldn’t look in the mirror and love myself, and no one should compare to anyone else,” she explains.
PHYSICAL EXERCISES XO CARE OF MENTAL HEALTH
Things have changed and, nowadays, Duda invests a lot in the care of her mental health: “I do a lot of therapy! I also do therapy. If it wasn’t for her, I think I would have given up on this world by now, it saves me every day, “he says. “I also take care of myself, I have moments alone, I practice physical activity and I follow a daily routine”.
Physical exercises, by the way, play an important role here. Duda, who has always worked well, suspended her attendance when the coronavirus pandemic arrived in Brazil – and this resulted in a restless mind and a lot of “paranoia”, as she puts it.
“So I understood that doing physical activity goes far beyond the aesthetic question. It ends up being a distraction, a moment of taking care of yourself from the outside in and vice versa”, explains the singer, who has chosen the morning period for your practice “When I don’t train in the morning, my day is different. I need to exercise in the morning to be more productive. I do it at that time to start the day well and in a good mood.”
On the agenda of activities, there are weight training and muay thai. For her, the gym can be quite monotonous and the fight was a perfect alternative to the necessary aerobic workout, because the classes are always different and very stimulating.
“I always try to do weight training and muay thai, but there are days when I can only do one,” he says.
Also, to keep his mental health updated, Duda invests in a balanced diet, listens to music, sings, watches movies he likes, puts on makeup, and goes out with friends to talk. “I’m very familiar, but I see the importance of socializing with other people and ultimately ‘breaking out of the cocoon’,” she muses.
