Pudding is a perfect dessert on most occasions, but on cold days it may not be the best option. How about a version that includes hot syrup? Now you can enjoy candy even when the temperature drops. Find out how to make an easy pudding with hot syrup:
Time: 1h (+ 2h in the fridge)
Performance: 8
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients for Easy Pudding with Spicy Sauce
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup mashed banana chips
- margarine to grease
Syrup
- 1/2 cup (tea) of butter
- 1 cup (tea) of brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons of cognac
- 1/2 cup (tea) of water
Method of preparation
Grease a pudding mold with plenty of butter and set aside. Beat the banana, condensed milk and eggs in a blender until smooth. Add the mashed banana and pour it into the mold. Bake in a double boiler, in a medium oven, preheated, for 45 minutes or until when you insert a knife, it is clean.
For the syrup, melt the butter and add the sugar, stirring until it melts and forms a thick paste. Put the cognac in a ladle and bring it to the heat until it catches fire, pour it over the syrup and wait. Add the water and cook for another 3 minutes, or until the syrup is shiny and liquid. Cool the pudding and refrigerate for 2 hours. Unmold, heat the syrup and pour over the pudding. Serve immediately.
