Brown rice: 8 recipes to detach from the bases

Brown rice and (traditional) white rice differ in one very simple factor: the way each type is processed. White rice, to assume its traditional color, undergoes a “polishing” process in which the grain loses some of the layers that compose it. Brown rice does not go through this process.

In addition to color, the nutritional benefits are also altered by the occurrence of polishing. After all, we’re tired of hearing that brown rice is healthier, and is that true? Yes, by preserving the original integrity of the grain, the processing of brown rice preserves vitamins, fibers and minerals in a more abundant way than white rice.
