Chef Giu Giunti teaches how to make an easy and fluffy cake that everyone will love!
Making more nutritious and healthier cakes is easier than many people think. Fruit pies such as apples, bananas, pears or even dried fruit are a great option for venturing, whether by changing the flours or adding ingredients rich in fiber and vitamins. In this cake I have replaced the original recipe with a cup of wheat flour tea for 1 cup of oat bran, which is a source of fiber and leaves a very special flavor and texture.
This recipe is also very good to make as a cupcake and you have the option to freeze it after cooking. To defrost just leave it in the fridge and then consume. It’s a super nutritious snack.
Take the opportunity to save this delicious recipe and put it on the family menu!
ingredients
3 whole eggs
3/4 cup of tea oil
2 large Fuji apples, cut into cubes
2 cups of sweet tea
1 teaspoon of vanilla paste or essence
1 cup of wheat flour
1 cup of oat bran
1 tablespoon of baking powder

Method of preparation:
Cut the apples into very small cubes with the peel and put them in water so that they do not oxidize (darken). Reserve. In a bowl, beat the 3 eggs with the oil and add the sugar. Add vanilla, it’s optional, you can also use cinnamon for flavor. Drain the water from the apple and add it to the dough, mix and then add the sifted wheat flour and oat bran. Mix well and finally the yeast. Pour the cake onto the buttered form, decorate with more apple if you prefer and place it in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 35 minutes or until it comes off the toothpick.
Serve hot with tea, it’s delicious!
