Fondue is a dish that adapts to colder climates. Traditionally, it is made with cheese. However, it is quite possible to prepare it with plant-based ingredients. Vegan fondue
ingredients
- 2 cups of cashews
- 4 cups of hot water
- 500 g of cooked cassava
- 2 tablespoons of soup sour cassava
- 1 clove of grated garlic
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of olive oil
- Ground pepper to taste
- 1 glass of dry white wine
- Waterfall
- Toast cubes for serving
Method of preparation
Put the cashews in a container, cover with water and leave to rest sauce for about 10 hours. Discard the water. In a blender, beat the cashews with hot water until a paste is formed and store in a container. Put the rest of the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
Put the blended mixture in a non-stick pan and cook over low heat for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the cashew paste and mix until a fondue consistency is obtained. Transfer to a fondue machine and serve with the bread cubes.
