Stuffed Breath Ingredients:
- 5 egg whites
- 4 cups (tea) of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- Lemon zest to decorate
Cream:
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 lemon juice
- 1/2 cup (tea) of milk
- 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
Method of preparation:
For the cream, in a pan, mix the ingredients, bring to medium heat, stirring until it thickens. Let it cool down. With the electric whisk beat the egg whites until stiff. Halfway through cooking, add the sugar and lemon juice, a little at a time, until you get firm peaks. Transfer to a pastry bag with a pitanga nozzle and to a baking tray lined with baking paper, cut into disks of 5 cm in diameter. Make borders on the circles forming a basket. Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes or until they have hardened. Let it cool down. Finally, transfer the cold cream into a pastry bag equipped with a pitanga nozzle and fill the baskets with meringue. Decorate with lemon zest and serve immediately.
