The World Health Organization points out that a sedentary lifestyle will cause disease for 500 million people by 2030

The Ministry of Health estimates that 22% of the Brazilian population is currently obese. In addition, a UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais) study also found that three out of ten adults in Brazil are expected to suffer from obesity by 2030.
Cardiovascular disease, in turn, particularly heart attack and stroke, has already killed more than 300,000 Brazilians in 2022 – an average of 1,100 people per day, or 46 per hour, according to the SBC (Brazilian Society of Cardiology).
