A young American woman went viral on TikTok after she was shown to be fired from her job multiple times for wearing clothes deemed “revealing” by the company’s human resources department. She was defended by thousands of followers and decided to play a joke to see if the problem was, in fact, the envy of other employees.
Marie Dee showed, in one of the videos, the dialogue she had with a human resources employee. In conversation, the colleague stated that she could not wear the tight black dress with a high collar in the workplace, because she was “a distraction”. The situation has already happened, she said.
“Guys, it happened again, I am sent home to change. This is getting ridiculous,” Marie said in the TikTok video.
When he queries HR, he gets the answer, “I’m sorry, but you can’t use it. It’s very revealing and creepy,” says the female voice. Confused, Marie replied, “Is this a distraction?” and the clerk replies: “A lot”.

One follower posted a comment saying the HR woman was probably jealous of her looks which is why she would have downloaded her so many times. It was then that Marie Dee decided to play a joke as a test to see if the problem would happen to a male HR employee.
She wore a low-cut lime green dress and over a black blazer, plus heeled sandals. The look was specially designed to break the company’s dress code rules. On this day, a man would be in charge of human resources.
Marie went to the department director’s office and he reacted positively to tiktoker’s gaze, praising her and asking her to “take a walk”. “Since this is getting so ridiculous, I have decided to be ridiculous in response,” reads the caption of Marie Dee’s post.
