Ingredients for caramelized onion and brie quiche:

Pasta

  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup (tea) of margarine
  • 2 cups of flour (wheat)

Filling

  • 4 tablespoons of margarine
  • 1 kg of onion cut into rings
  • 5 teaspoons of sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups (tea) of fresh cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 170g brie cheese, cut into medium slices

Method of preparation:

For the dough, put the flour, salt and margarine in a bowl. Then add the egg and mix with your hands until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Then cover with plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.

For the filling, heat a skillet over medium heat, add the margarine, onion, sugar and salt. Lower the heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is caramelized, soft and golden in color. Finally, book.

With your hands, line the bottom and sides of a pan with a removable base measuring 24 cm in diameter. Bring to a preheated medium oven and pre-bake the dough for 10 minutes. In a bowl, mix the cream, eggs and caramelized onion.
