How to make coconut flour?

You will need it only from the coconut meat. It’s what’s left over after milking the coconut, which is great because this is a recipe that avoids waste. After draining the water and opening the coconut, you need to remove the coconut meat, wash it and dry it. An important tip is to also remove the brown part of the coconut.

Bring all of the coconut “meat,” cut into chunks, to a food processor or blender with warm water. In this process, you will prepare the coconut milk first and then the flour with leftover fibers🇧🇷 After hitting the blender well, strain the milk with a voile or fibrous tissue.

With the residue of this procedure, we will finally prepare our coconut flour. Now, the fibers will be dehydrated🇧🇷 You can do it both in the oven and in the pan. The important thing is to always leave them on low heat to dry them carefully. In the oven, lay the fibers on baking paper and, in the case of a pan, mix with a spatula. The flour shouldn’t be toasted, just lightly browned. It will be ready when it is dry. Have a good time!
