For a long time, I believed that I was unable to perform certain activities. In fact, I thought I didn’t have the ability. But, with maturity, we learn that this is not true, after all we manage to focus more on the inside than the outside.
Today I focus much more on myself than I did 20 years ago. And that’s why I achieve my challenges. I shared with you some of the preparations for the Corridas das Poderosas here in Rio de Janeiro. My question was whether it would be fun to participate in a race. This was the conviction I had: running is not for me!
I even got chills just thinking about attending such an event. I thought: I’m not an athlete, why should I enter a competition? Just to win a medal? Rushing into the turmoil, making preparations several days in advance, failing
do certain things. Wake up very early to run?!
I know many of you think so, so I thought and changed. I changed because it’s the lifestyle I want to have from now on. Have quality of life with movement, independence and physical autonomy.
And when you are placed in this lifestyle, it is the living environment that you must have. Do what you like with more people, who like to do what
Comets.
Isn’t it like having a party or a barbecue? Gather people to celebrate. This is the test run! I was willing and open, ready to live this experience with another vision. And it worked!
How did the Powerful Races fare?

What surprised me the most about the race was seeing many women (it was the majority) helping other women. Encouraging to be there, to run a little more, so that those who have not been able to walk can reach the finish line.
I also encouraged and helped a student to complete the test, she had already run, but hadn’t run 5km on the street. And she loved. It’s hard, yes, it takes effort, but it’s been super rewarding. She overcame her fear of not making it and we crossed the finish line together.
I’ve posted some pretty cool pics on there instago check it out and leave that cookie.
Another illusion we create is not being able to run. But running is training. I didn’t start running out of thin air. I walked and ran. So if you are interested in learning to run, contact me, I can guide you!
