Ingredients:

  • 1 sachet of unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 jar of cream
  • 2 cups chopped ripe melon
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) of vanilla essence

Method of preparation:

  1. Dissolve the gelatin following the instructions on the package and place it in a water bath.
  2. Blend in a blender with the condensed milk, cream, melon, lemon juice and essence until smooth.
  3. Pour into individual bowls and refrigerate for 2 hours. To serve.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium melon
  • 1 pack of cherry flavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup hot water (tea)
  • 1 cup cold water (tea)
  • 1/2 cup canned cherries halved

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut off a melon top and carefully remove the seeds and strings using a spoon.
  2. Cut the base to support.
  3. Dissolve the gelatin as indicated on the package, using hot and cold water and incorporate the cherry.
  4. Fill the melon cavity and cover.
  5. Secure with toothpicks and refrigerate for 4 hours or until set. Cut into slices and arrange on a platter to serve.

Performance: 4 portions

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 melon
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 chopped green apple
  • 3 chopped and seeded tomatoes
  • 1 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 3 stalks of celery chopped
  • Salt, onion and black pepper to taste
  • Lettuce for garnish

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds.
  2. Scrape the pulp, preferably with a small ladle, to make it come out in the form of balls.
  3. Reserve.
  4. In a bowl mix the diced chicken breast, the green apple, the tomatoes, the onion, the celery, the spices and the mayonnaise.
  5. Gently mix and incorporate the melon balls.
  6. Stuff the melon halves, place them on a plate lined with chopped lettuce and serve.

Time: 20min (+4h of fridge)

Performance: 8 portions

Difficulty: medium

Ingredients:

  • 1 large ripe yellow melon
  • 1 pack of strawberry flavored jelly
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup ice water (cold)
  • 1 cup strawberries (chopped and washed)

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut the melon in half, remove and remove the seeds.
  2. Remove the melon flesh with a spoon until 2 cm of flesh remains near the peel.
  3. Pike half into cubes and the rest set aside to make a juice.
  4. Make a small cut in the skin of each melon so that it stands upright.
  5. Dissolve the strawberry jelly in the hot water, add the cold water, the strawberries and the chopped melon.
  6. Pour the gelatin in equal parts between the 2 halves until it is completely filled.
  7. Refrigerate carefully for a minimum of 4 hours or until set.
  8. Place the remaining gelatin in small bowls.
  9. Cut each half into 4 pieces and serve.
  10. If you like, serve with a scoop of pineapple ice cream or your favorite flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g of ham light sliced
  • 3 cups peeled melon (diced)
  • 200 g of cherry tomatoes cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 g of flaked Parmesan

Method of preparation:

  1. Take the slices of ham, chop them irregularly with your hands.
  2. Put the ingredients (except the Parmesan) in a salad bowl and mix gently.
  3. Sprinkle the Parmesan on top and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Apple Juice with Melon and Ginger

Performance: 1 glass of 250ml

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • ½ apple with peel
  • ¼ melon
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger
  • 300ml ice cold water

Method of preparation:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2. Then strain the apple, melon and ginger juice and serve immediately.
  3. If needed, sweeten with sweetener or brown sugar. Finally, help yourself!

Melon mousse with mint



Time: 30min (+3h in the fridge)

Performance: 6 portions

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups melon (diced)
  • 1/3 cup apple juice (tea)
  • 2 packets of unflavored colorless gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup (tea) water
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of plain yogurt
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped mint
  • 3 whipped egg whites
  • Mint leaves and chopped melon for garnish

Method of preparation:

  1. In the blender, blend the melon with the apple juice until you get a puree.
  2. Reserve.
  3. In a pan, heat the gelatin dissolved in the water without boiling it.
  4. Remove from the heat, add the yoghurt, the beaten melon, the sugar, the chopped mint and mix.
  5. Place the pot in a bowl of ice water and stir until it stops.
  6. Add the whipped egg whites, stirring gently, and pour into 6 individual moistened moulds.
  7. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
  8. Develop, decorate with mint leaves and chopped melon. To serve.
