It will be the first show after the departure of Alessandro Michele
After three years, the Italian brand Gucci will once again open the fashion shows for the Milan Men’s Fashion Week, which will take place from 13 to 17 January 2023. It will also be the first appearance after the farewell of the creative director Alessandro Michele.
The closing of next year’s edition will be up to Zegna on January 16, starting at 3 pm (local time).
The participation of Gucci was the main novelty of the press conference to present the event, led by the president of the National Chamber of Fashion, Carlo Capasa.
In all, there will be 21 fashion shows, 31 presentations, four digital events and 11 different events, for a total of 72 attractions.
Among the brands that will debut at Fashion Week are Add, Bonsai, Charles Philip, Iuster, Sestini, Tagliatore and Valstar. One of the highlights of the parallel events will be the celebration of 100 years of Colmar, which will anticipate the presentation of its new collection, Revolution.
Another attraction takes place on the 14th, with the first collaboration between Marni and Carhart Wip. Two days later, the highlight of the catwalks will be the presentation of “The Added Element”, during which The Woolmark Company and the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli yachting team will unveil the novelties of the technical partnership, showing the fundamental role of Merino wool in the garments and in the uniform teams. 🇧🇷
