Profiteroles

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of water (tea)
  • 1/2 cup butter (tea)
  • 1 cup wheat flour (tea)
  • 4 eggs

Filling

  • 500 ml of cream ice cream

Roof

  • 200 g of chopped semi-sweet chocolate

Method of preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, bring the water, butter and water to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Meanwhile add the flour all at once and stir until it comes apart from the bottom of the pan.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, allow to cool and add the eggs, one at a time, stirring constantly.
  4. Place in a pastry bag fitted with a large round nozzle and shape the profiteroles on a buttered baking tray.
  5. Bring to a medium, preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Then let it cool
  7. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and set aside
  8. Cut the sides of the profiteroles, fill them with the ice cream, arrange them on a plate and sprinkle them with the melted chocolate
  9. Serve immediately.
