Maroon 5 will take the stage at Rock in Rio on Saturday, September 12, performing on the festival's Palco Mundo, or Main Stage, starting at 00:05 Brasilia time in the early hours of Sunday, September 13. The band is made up of Adam Levine, James Valentine, PJ Morton, Sam Farrar, Jesse Carmichael and Matt Flynn.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1994, Maroon 5 rose to fame with hits blending pop, rock and funk and has become one of the most recognizable pop acts of the past two decades.
Before arriving in Rio de Janeiro, Maroon 5 toured Brazil as part of their "Love Is Like World Tour." The band played shows on September 6, 8 and 10 in Sao Jose do Rio Preto, Salvador and Sao Paulo respectively.
Maroon 5 has performed in Brazil before. The group was one of the headline acts at The Town festival in 2023, and returned in 2025 for an intimate show in Sao Paulo.
