‘Welcome to Eden’: Exclusive featurette of the new Netflix series

Tomorrow this long-awaited series arrives on the platform.

You are happy?“With this question Zoa (the character she gives life to Amaia Aberasturi) and four other attractive young men, all very active on social networks, are invited to the most exclusive party in history on a secret island, organized by a brand of a new drink. What starts out as an exciting trip will soon become the trip of a lifetime. But paradise is not really what it seems… This is what the new series ‘Welcome to Eden’ is aboutone of which will arrive on Netflix in 2022.

In the exclusive featurette that we present to you, the cast explains what Eden is. The characters think that the trip is an opportunity to be free, painted at first as a paradise in which anyone would like to live. An environment full of peace, a place to find the answer to the big question with which we started this article. After all, it is a meeting place for one another, where a community lives in perfect harmony. But that’s first. This place hides something else, something really cloudy and not as really pure as it promises.

The new series has a very choral cast, made up of already established faces and other newcomers in the world of acting. They are there Amaia Aberasturi (‘Akelarre’, ‘The Age of Wrath’), Amaia Salamanca (‘In spite of everything’, ‘Without boobs there is no paradise’), Belinda Peregrin, lola rodriguez (‘Poison’), Sergio Momo (‘Elite’), Begona Vargas (‘High Seas’, ‘The Laws of the Frontier’), Ana Mena, Bertha Vazquez (‘Vis a vis’, ‘The laws of thermodynamics’), Tommy Aguilera (‘SKAM Spain’), Albert Baro (‘Serve and protect’, ‘Merlí’, ‘The wild children’), William Pfening (‘Foodie Love’, ‘Wakolda’, ‘Blind Date’), Diego Garissa, Dariam Coco, Irene Dave, Alex Pastrana (‘Elite’, ‘The boss’) and Berta Castane (‘Christmas days’, ‘Everyone lies’), among others.

With this new project, Netflix continues to add a new youth series following the path of ‘Elite’ but with another plot line. In this new Netflix production, one of the many Spanish proposals that we will see in 2022, it shows us the B side of this type of luxury resort, in addition to making a clear criticism of the high exposure on social networks.

The ‘Welcome to Eden’ series is created and written by Joaquin Gorriz Y William Lopezand is directed by Daniel Benmayor Y Menna Fite. The project has been shot in different locations in Spain such as Lanzarote, Barcelona or San Sebastián.

The series arrives this coming Friday, May 6 on the platform. Do you want to see what ‘Welcome to Eden’ promises?
