Why was this week’s episode of The Last Of Us brought forward?

The Last Of Us is the series of the moment and with each episode its success increases on HBO. However, this week’s episode, which traditionally airs on Sundays, came out on a different day, but why?

Episode 5 has actually been brought forward to Friday (10) on HBO Max. In other words, it’s already available. See Olhar Digital’s review.

The premiere will be brought forward only on HBO Max, with the HBO channel launch happening Sunday (12th), at the same time as usual, at 11pm. But for those who choose to watch the series via the streaming service, episode 5 premiered on Friday (10), two days ahead of schedule.

But why the date change?

The Last Of Us was brought forward due to the Super Bowl and will return to its usual day and time next week. The decision is such that American football lovers don’t have to choose between watching the game and watching the series.

As a result, Episode 5 has been on HBO Max since Friday, but if you want the experience of watching it on TV, it will still be on the channel tonight.

The remaining episodes of the nine-episode series will continue to premiere Sundays at 11 p.m. on HBO and HBO Max until March 12, when the series finale premieres.
