Salome’s innocence is restored
While Salome is going through Thomas’ things to get hold of his tablet, she is caught in the act by her companion, who suspects that she is planning a surprise for him for Valentine’s Day. To explain her confusion, Salome claims that she is still having trouble coming to terms with the idea of leaving the institute. Thomas offers to help her through her second years so she can clear her mind.
Meanwhile, Louis brings Faye and Rose proof that Charlene plagiarized Salome: while searching her former laptop, he comes across an exchange of letters with Thomas, who sent him photos from Salome’s notebook.
In turn, Salome helps Thomas with his baking class, but she never leaves the tablet. Salome tricks Kelly into believing she needs it to restore their photos and create a montage as a Valentine’s Day gift. So Kelly agrees to transport her father to give Salome time to carefully restore the tablet. Their plan is working.
At the end of the lesson, Salome, who found the photos in the notebook on Thomas’ tablet, asks for an explanation. The professor explains that he was afraid of losing her when he realized he was going to win the call for projects. He knows that building a business takes a lot of work and that privacy comes at a cost. When Charlene comes to him, he agrees to help, but admits that he could have backed out at any time, and he didn’t. To catch up, he still offered to open a restaurant for two people. A shocked Salome breaks off their relationship.
She meets Gaitan in the corridor and apologizes for not believing her in the first place. Gaitan encourages Salome to denounce Thomas to the authorities, or at least push him to denounce himself. At the same time, Rose calls Salome to the atelier.
She joins the Master’s other students there, as well as Teyssier before Faye and Rose. They represent the visual identity of the project: this is the logo with Salome’s initials. Rose explains that they had proof of Charlene’s crime. After her father refuses to protect her, the young girl leaves the studio. Faye then offers Salome to finance her project as planned, which the latter happily accepts. In turn, Emmanuel approaches Rose to ask to see the evidence that incriminates his daughter. Rose plans to discuss it at a meeting the next day.
Upon returning home, Rose finds her husband and expects another argument. But Antoine believes that they argued too much last week and should learn to separate their professional and personal lives better. He admits to getting a little carried away with his son, and Rose says she considers him family. In order to forgive, Antoine offers his companion a hell, also called a Christmas rose, on which he hangs small notes for all the details that his wife adores. The couple will reconcile.
As for Charlene, she is seething with anger. Louis comes to see her, pretending to sympathize until he reveals that he was the one who shot everything at Fayette and Rose in revenge…
Happy Valentine’s Day !
As Lisandro prepares to leave, Anais is torn between pride and grief. The couple admits to each other that they will miss each other very much.
During this time, Judy sets up an olive tree in the double room, as well as a stack of small boxes available for customers, as well as students and teachers of the institute, to leave sweet nothings for Valentine’s Day.
During the meal, Chef Theo comes into the dining room to take the temperature and notices that the menu is a hit with the customers. He congratulates Jude. The latter asks him about the lunchbox. Even if his little note with a bag of cardamom hadn’t been answered, Theo had been making a semifreddo based on the plant the day before.
After the service, Ethan and Samia take the opportunity to read each other’s words at the Olive Tree. The same goes for Hortense and Mehdi, or even Axel and Jasmine. Even Chief Guino discovers a note Olivia left for him. All couples are on cloud nine.
Later, Jasmine calls Anais at Double A because she noticed a note left for her on the olive tree. Anais reads a note that specifically tells her to look under the Double A bar. Anais finds a lunch box with Theo’s dessert there. It tastes with jasmine. Both agree it’s great. Jasmine then suggests that Anais answer her and accept the challenge she gave her with the bag of cardamom.
Jasmine accompanies Anais to the studio to help her work on the dessert. As he goes on, he notices that his friend is getting more and more inspired. Anais is even willing to end herself on her own so that Jasmine can join Axel at the Valentine’s Day party. Anais admits that she wanted to impress her secret correspondent. She is so busy cooking that she misses a call from Lisandro.
Later, Theo discovers Anais’s lunch box under the olive tree. He discovers a note that proves its author is indeed a girl. In the lunch box, he finds a perfectly prepared dessert. While tasting it, he applauds the talent of Anais, who managed to prepare such a creamy and original dessert in just three hours. Before Jude comes to taste it too, Theo takes a picture of the dessert.
