Salome revels in her victory

When confronted by her parents, Charlene justifies her actions by saying that she wanted to do something on her own so she wouldn’t be seen as just their daughter or sister. He still assumes that they are going to be released from the institute, to which the father cannot answer.

At the institute, Rose Latour and Emmanuel Teissiere fire Thomas for helping a student cheat. He is allowed to stay until the end of the week to complete the module and not punish the students.

Once alone, Rose and Emmanuel discuss Charlene’s case. Rose feels that she needs to discipline him. Emmanuel defends his daughter by admitting that Salome should not have been chosen by Fayette either, as he was able to make her recipes thanks to her advice, which he gave her through the takeaway. Rose believes that this does not change anything for Charlene and decides to expel her for a month.

Meanwhile, Gaitan congratulates Salome. He is happy that justice has finally been served. Salome thanks him for giving evidence of Charlene’s plagiarism to Fayette and Latour. Gaitan tries to make him understand that there is nothing to do with it, but he does not allow him to talk and invites him to celebrate the victory with champagne in the evening.

Troubled by this misunderstanding, Gaitan confides in Anais. The latter prompts him to be honest with Salome as soon as he has the chance.

In turn, Thomas waits until class is over to reveal to Kelly that he has now broken up with Salome because she helped Charlene plagiarize her project. He understands Salome’s reaction and the institute’s decision. He also understands that Kelly is mad at him, but doesn’t want to lose him again. The young girl, terribly disappointed by her father, replies that she needs time.

At the atelier, Salome presents her new dish to Faye and Latour, as well as two other chefs. He has re-appropriated his menu thanks to a new original and healthy recipe: aged veal filet mignon accompanied by a wonderful tart with a mixture of mushrooms and shallots cooked in Himalayan salt with veal jus à la truffle. The tasting is successful. Fayette believes that this dish is more refined than the previous one. He then reveals to Salome that he intends to finance a franchise in her name throughout France. Salome is really ready.

In the evening, she will join Gaetan at the Marais Salant for a champagne toast. The sports coach takes the opportunity to confess to her that he did not give Charlene’s plagiarism proof to Faye and Latour. He adds that he didn’t dare confront her earlier in the day because he didn’t want to break the bond they had just found. Salome does not oppose this, on the contrary. Finally they kiss, then love…

The institute will host a taste festival

At Double A, Chef Guinot announces that the establishment will host a taste festival in two weeks. Several prestigious chefs, including chefs Maier, Teissier, Armand and Cardone, will come and present their cuisine through tastings to present their world. For training, they will choose another among the students of the institute. Ethan, already aware of this, is far from thrilled at the idea of ​​seeing his mother again.

Nevertheless, all the students are highly motivated and ask Principal Guinot the details of how the latter will be chosen. As there will be no selection tests, the chefs will simply observe the students during the lessons before making their selections. Guinot adds that Teyssier took the third year out of the festival so they could stay focused on the exams. Hortense is very disappointed.

Later, Samia joins Ethan in Double A’s kitchen. The young man is now training to get into Teyssier’s classes in the hope that she will choose him a second time. Indeed, he admits that he does not want to cooperate with his mother, because his mother still has too much influence on him, and he does not want to go back to his old ways. Ethan admits that being at the institute with his friends and girlfriend makes him feel better, whereas before he was constantly competing in the kitchen. Samia urges him to prove himself to Teysier.

Meanwhile, Axel confides in Jasmine that he would love to be her uncle’s second in command. He offers his girlfriend to train with him like in the good old days, which she happily accepts.

Mehdi is upset

At the studio, Judy, Elliot, Lionel and Hortense are still training under Mehdi’s guidance. Lionel encourages Hortense to have a discussion with her boyfriend so he can be less demanding. As she prepares to do so, Teissier arrives to warn them that their training will be of no use to them as she has finally decided that their test will no longer be about pastry.

Lionel believes that this is the right opportunity to change the coach. Mehdi defends his place by claiming to be the best, but Lionel insists that Jude replace him. Thus, the latter receives votes from Lionel and Judy, while Hortense abstains. Therefore, Mehdi is forced to leave his place. Judy offers training in complex cooking.

After training, Mehdi is still in a bad mood. Hortense, Lionel and Eliot try to make him realize that he is not a good enough teacher, even if he is too authoritarian. Mehdi is terribly nervous.

A little later, Mehdi finds Hortense in the kitchens of Double A. A young woman practices in Landiras’ class and pretends she doesn’t know how to use a piping bag to ask a friend for help. The latter is not deceived, but plays a game, it helps to relieve tension and even ignites a fire between them.
