Mark your calendars! On May 4, Netflix will release The Bridgerton Chronicle spin-off, a project centered on the teenage years of Queen Charlotte, the nonconformist and irresistible character from the original series.
This derivative fiction follows the Queen’s rise to power and tells how her marriage to King George is the beginning of a great love story, but also a real change in society.
In addition to the official date, the streaming platform released the first trailer. True to the success ingredients of the Shonda Rhimes series, this spin-off promises sharp intrigue, sets and costumes, but also sultry scenes.
Actress Golda Rochevel, who played Queen Charlotte in the original program, returns. It’s India Amarteifio who lends her features to a younger version of herself, while Corey Milchrist, who appeared in The Sandman, plays the young and charismatic King George.
We remind you that the filming of the 3rd season of The Bridgerton Chronicle has already ended. The series is not expected to return until the end of the year, if not early 2024. In the meantime, Queen Charlotte’s stories should largely capture fans’ minds.
