Carnaval de SP 2023: Bloco da Pabllo and Ritaleena are the highlights of Sunday; check the schedule

Emicida, Michel Teló and Tiago Abravanel are among the expected names in other districts of the city; see timetables and each route

after a hectic Carnival Saturday, whoever thinks that Sunday 19 will be peaceful is wrong. Most take place in the center and west of the city, such as the traditional Ilú Oba de Min, which promotes Afro-Brazilian and African cultures, and Jegue Elétrico are present.

The most acclaimed by the public: Bloco da Pabllo and Ritaleena, bring songs by the inspiring singers of each, in this case Paul Vitar and Rita Lee. The Abrava block also takes place along the same lines, with Tiago Abravanel, Explode Coração, with songs by Maria Bethânia and Bem Sertanejo, with Michel Teló. In Santana, in the north of São Paulo, the #QuilomboLAB block is back on the street with rappers HemicidalRael, Fioti and Drik Barbosa.

For children, Berço Elétrico, in Vila Mariana, and Bloquinho Gente Miúda, in the Lapa region, are good options.

In all, 63 blocks parade through the streets and avenues of São Paulo, but we separate 15 which are among the highlights, with information on the timetable, route, style and public informed by the associations:

#QuilomboLab: meeting at 13, in Av. Luis Dumont Villares (sub-prefecture of Santana), with rap songs. Adult audience.

good sertanejo: meeting at 11, at Av. Faria Lima (sub-prefecture of Pinheiros), with country music. General public.

Bem Jegue Elétrico: meeting at 2 pm, on R. Arthur de Azevedo (sub-prefecture of Pinheiros), with marchinhas. General public.

Ilú Obá De Min: meeting at 2 pm, on R. Conselheiro Brotero, (sub-prefecture of Sé), with Afro music. General public.

Pablo’s block: meeting at 13, in Av. Pedro Álvares Cabral Alves da Silva (sub-prefecture of Vila Mariana), with pop/funk songs sung by Pabllo Vittar. LGBT+ audience.

heart explodes: meeting at 13, in Praça da República (Sé sub-prefecture), with MPB songs, recorded by Maria Bethânia. Adult audience.

Abraham: meeting at 13, in Av. Faria Lima (sub-prefecture of Pinheiros), with MPB music. Adult audience.

we block: meeting at 2 pm, on R. Wisard (Pinheiros sub-prefecture), with rock music. General public.

Cheetah skirt: meeting at 9:00, at Praça Dr. Vicente Tramonte Garcia (sub-prefecture of Lapa), with MPB music and samba. Adult audience.

vulture: meeting at 12:00, in Largo da Matriz de Nossa Senhora do Ó (sub-prefecture of Freguesia do Ó), with marchinhas. General public.

Ritaleena: meeting at 13, on R. Caramuru (sub-prefecture of Vila Mariana), with songs by Rita Lee. General public.

Electric cot: gathering at 10:00, in Praça Rosa Alves da Silva (sub-prefecture of Vila Mariana), with songs for children and marchinhas. Child audience.

little people: meeting at 10, in Av. prof. Alfonso Bovero (subprefecture of Lapa), with marchinhas. Child audience.

Bastard: meeting at 1 pm, in R. Joaquim Antunes (sub-prefecture of Pinheiros), with the traditional marchinhas. Adult audience.

carnabears: meeting at 13, in Largo do Arouche (sub-prefecture of Sé), with pop/funk music. LGBT+ audience.
