As awards season continues, the Directors Guild of America presented its awards on Saturday night. And, perhaps not too surprisingly (although it was his first DGA win), All everywhere at once directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert won the first prize for feature films.
“It’s been a great year for our little film that’s still ongoing,” Kwan said as part of his acceptance speech. The couple conquered people like TARTod Field, Top Gun: nonconformistby Joseph Kosinsky, The Banshees of InisherinI’m Martin McDonagh and… The FabelmansSteven Spielberg.
In the First Feature Director category, after the sunWon Charlotte Wells, over the likes of St. Omeris Alice Diop e Criminal EmiliaIt’s John Patton Ford.
Elsewhere, we’ve acknowledged EuphoriaSam Levinson for the episode “Stand Still Like The Hummingbird” e station elevenHelen Shaver won the TV Movie/Limited Series award for “Who’s There”. berry creator/star Bill Hader tapped the comedy series to direct the episode “710N”.
