AlloCiné: In “Mysteries of Love”, Jeanne is currently amnesiac for some time. Will he get his memory back?

Isabelle Buis: In progress… Anyway, Love Island remembers and messes up! Because he still lives with the same people, he remains fixated on stories from that time.

It seems that Zhanna is ready to do anything to get Nikola back (Patrick Puidebat), exactly. Will he take action?

He’s in the same position as he was in Love Fest! For him, Hélène (Hélène Rollès, editor’s note) went with Peter Watson (Serge Gisquière, editor’s note), who was once the group’s number one enemy. Zhanna remembers only this. He’s trying to fight his way through the cornfield as best he can!

Her relationship with Ellen has always been good, and she knows she’s a good person… so Jeanne feels guilty about being attracted to Nicola. That is why he is trying to find a valid excuse to justify his actions.

He is with Helen and they are in love. But in life there is black, there is white, but there are also opaque things. I think it is between them. Jeanne has love for him, because they lived a strong story. Then he left…

In my opinion, it still has a bitter taste because he imposed this decision. I think Nicolas cracks more easily when in position. Maybe she needs it… but I don’t know because I never ask questions about what happens next!

Do you like playing Amnesic Jeanne?

Yes, because in the beginning, when he woke up in the hospital, there were some painful scenes. Ginny was talking about family: brother, sister, parents… It was in the register of emotions and it was good because we don’t always have the opportunity to do that. As an actor, it’s nice to interpret different things.

Tired of playing this role?

No, because many times I had the opportunity to go elsewhere. I’ve done other things in fiction, I’ve taken photos, I’ve been a dancer… In fact, my work in “Secrets” has its own flaws. You can say we are tired, but there is also a very comfortable and relaxing side.

We know our character by heart. As humans we like to be quiet and the situation is quite pleasant for me! Anyway, I don’t feel disappointed.

Have you ever been turned down or asked to change certain plots?

I am posting the comment further back, not above. I can say “We did this thing, we could have done it differentlyBut to be honest, I really have a policy of not complaining because being married to Jean-Luc Azoulet (creator of Saga and AB Productions, editor’s note) wouldn’t be easy at home. That’s why I don’t say anything, I don’t know to tell you the truth!

As an actor, do you feel restricted in your career due to your role in “Mysteries of Love”?

I have not experienced this feeling. I think this aspect has long disappeared in France. When it was still there, I had the chance to work elsewhere. Today, projects are quieting down because women’s roles are diminishing, especially as they grow up… It’s something natural that’s always been there.

Regardless, it’s true that being in a secret or something leaves a mark… but I don’t think it’s going to do any harm. In any case, this is a chance to get a job.

How do you feel about the insane success of this saga and the world of AB Productions?

Maybe it’s because of being in it, but I can’t figure it out. I do not consider this phenomenon as madness. However, I am aware of this great success and the impact it can have on people.

Do you sometimes find that the series goes too far into the unbelievable?

I don’t know if it goes too far… other fanfictions go too far, like Shameless. In fact, you have to tell stories, and if they have to be incredible or extraordinary, it’s because they have to. Otherwise, nothing happens! People are more or less amenable to themes, and that’s understandable, but everything has to happen over time. You have to develop in the series, otherwise it will be boring!

How do you explain the fact that Jean-Luc Azoulay always managed to convince his actors to return to the saga?

It wasn’t that hard because there are labor realities and financial realities… people have to earn and work. This project is also pretty cool, so people keep coming back. The appointment takes place after Helen and the boys, it was continuity.

Have you ever thought about it after “Secrets of Love”?

It will end one day and that’s normal, that’s life. You know, since I was 16, I have always lived like this, in this environment. So I have no knots in my brain after this. Lets see ! I have been fortunate to always have follow-up experiences throughout my experience.

If the saga is one day renewed in another form, after “Secret of Love”, will you re-enter?

Of course ! I’m so hooked, it’s a continuum! I have been on a journey for so long, you must reach your final destination. I’m not going to get off the train now, it’s too stupid!
