“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” insulted the French for a real event

While some are already speculating about the future of ‘Black Panther’ movies (like Okoye could be the Queen of Wakanda), the truth is that its second installment, ‘Wakanda Forever’, continues to give people something to talk about .

In recent days, the French government has expressed its disagreement with a scene from this Marvel film, as it apparently incorporated a reference to an actual military event into its plot.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” offended the French government for this reason

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” was released in November 2022, but it wasn’t until February 2023 that the French government showed its disagreement with the content of this MCU movie.

On his personal Twitter account, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornou expressed his displeasure at representing his country on the tape with Tenoch Huerta (whom you can see in “Colosio, the killer” for free on ViX).

This after retweeting the scene from “Wakanda Forever” where Dora Milaje exposes before the United Nations a group of French mercenaries who tried unsuccessfully to obtain vibranium from Wakanda by force:

“I strongly condemn this misleading portrayal of our Armed Forces. I think of and pay tribute to the 58 French soldiers who lost their lives defending Mali at their request against Islamist terrorist groups.”
