Avatar 2: This Euro record that La Voie de l’eau achieved at the French box office!

In theaters on December 14th, Avatar 2 has already grossed 2.243 billion worldwide, surpassing Titanic to become the 3rd biggest hit of all time!

In France, La Voie de l’eau gathered 13.3 million viewers, close to the score of the first opus and its 15.3 million reception.

In the land of Moliere, Avatar 2 took 16th place on the box office biggest hits list, still dominated by Titanic and its 22 million followers.

However, if we convert these millions of receipts into euros, La Voie de l’eau breaks the record for receipts in France. Collecting more than 136 million euros, the feature film surpasses Titanic and its 130 million and takes the first place in the ranking.

James Cameron is still in third place with the first part of Avatar, which earned 128 million euros in France.

Behind Cameron, which takes the top 3 spots in the ratings, the Intouchables and Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis take a small place, each with around 123 million.

More than two months after its release, the tsunami La Voie de l’eau has not finished overrunning the box office!
