Federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) used his social networks this Sunday 26 to advertise a calendar and the Bolsonaro Store itself, an official e-commerce store created to sell products that refer to the mandate of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). On the site, the presentation of the shop says that the initiative was born “keeping alive in the memory most of Bolsonaro’s successes”.
The virtual store has, so far, six different products, from a table and wall calendar with images of the Bolsonaro administration to mugs, barbecue boards and a figurine that reproduces the silhouette of the former CEO. The slogan of the platform is printed on each article: “our dream is still more alive than ever”. Prices range from R $ 49.90 (calendar) to R $ 109.90 (barbecue and figurine).
The platform also has an affiliate program where members promote the site and receive some sort of commission if they convert sales. The “reward” is 10% of the net order value – excluding taxes, fees and shipping costs. The site says the businesses and products have the “support and cooperation” of the former president.
The domain of the platform was acquired by the deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro under the CNPJ of his course company on February 6, 2023. The registration is valid for ten years.
The creation of websites for the sale of official products is already a widespread practice in the political sphere, above all by subjects interested in supplementing the revenues of the acronyms. To the Stadiumthe Liberal Party said they were unaware of the store and were unrelated to the acronym.
