The victim’s 8-year-old son was in the residence when she was killed; crime that took place in the municipality of Goiás
A young woman of 28 was stabbed to death inside the house where she lived with her son, aged 8, in the municipality of Catalão, in Goiás, this Sunday 26. The main suspect in the crime is her ex-husband, of 31 years, who, as reported by witnesses, was walking near the victim’s home hours before she was killed.
According to the police, informed Anhanguera TVaffiliated with Rede Globo in the region, the suspicion is that during the early hours of the morning the criminal climbed over the wall of his ex-wife’s home, broke down the door and stabbed the victim several times.
The fire brigade and the mobile emergency service (Samu) were called to the accident, but the victim, identified as Olívia de Oliveira da Silva, could not resist her injuries and died on the spot.
Shortly after the crime, the Military Police searched the region to try to find the suspect, but he has not been located. The victim’s son was with her at the time of the crime.
According to the Civil Police informed the Earth, the case has been registered with the 1st DP of Catalão and an investigation has already been launched to ascertain the facts. As of the last update of this report, the suspect had not yet been located.
